The Sound of the Half Horse
With the Half Horse, it quickly became clear that I wanted to preserve exactly those qualities. At the same time, the pedal should meet the demands of today's guitarists. The result is not a simple clone, but my personal interpretation of a timeless classic.
As with all my designs, my goal is never to simply recreate an existing circuit, but to refine it where it truly matters. The Half Horse combines the unmistakable character of this legendary overdrive with carefully selected components, modern features, and uncompromising craftsmanship. The result is a pedal that preserves the legendary character while bringing it into the present with my own signature.

For the "Magic" clipping, I was able to source over 400 excellently sounding AA144-NOS diodes from Italy. The first batch, with serial numbers 1 to 200, will be equipped with these diodes. Suitable replacements will certainly be found for subsequent batches. However, these 200 units remain unique due to the special diode set used in this production batch.
Premium Components
Even in the Half Horse, only high-quality components are used. The Half Horse features tantalum and Panasonic audio electrolytic capacitors, as well as my favorite Amtrans resistors, just like the Mullet Drive. Alpha Taiwan potentiometers and Neutrik jacks ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
True-Bypass
As a true bypass pedal, it ensures that your signal remains unaffected when the pedal is turned off. With a soft-touch function, it is easy to operate with your fingers, even at the desk during recording sessions.
Enclosure and Design
